Cities are changing. Movie theaters are changing. Watching movies is changing. But the past is not gone, not forgotten. It is important to preserve the past with stories and images, not as a dead heredity, but as a living witness, like the De Roma. A monument that plays a significant social role in the life of the people in the neighborhood.
Today, it offers a diverse cultural program. Over the years the hall has not lost its attraction and its great atmosphere. And maybe the De Roma is, with its dedicated staff and its open-minded and faithful visitors, the real diamond of Antwerp – a flagship project par excellence.
